History Shows World Ethics Can Vary but Unharnessed Power Like the Banking Elite Have Today Always Leads to Fascism and Tyranny of the Few Over the Many.

Throughout time world ethics and their applications have varied. In certain Indian castes, people are considered to be better than others simply by virtue of their birth, which would never fly in America although it does work in Europe where there are still noble families.

The American merit based system seems anathema to many Asian business practices, where members of the family are involved and elevated regardless of their talent levels, simply because they are family and family are the only people who can be trusted.

Looking at religious based ethical systems, there are even more variations throughout the world too numerous to mention.

Yet throughout all these different systems there are a few universal truths that can have a great impact on the lives of the citizens living under such systems.

These truths can be summed up in a few simple sentences.

Freedom works; big government doesn't.

Liberty works; repression doesn't.

Capitalism works; socialism or totalitarianism doesn't.

So knowing these historically proven truths about world ethics, why on earth does it seem like every few decades there is some other group trying to create a universal government that will completely control and repress the world's population?

END POVERTY THROUGH FREEDOM

POVERTY JUST THE BEGINNING

With freedom, liberty and capitalism forming the cornerstone of world ethics, individuals around the world can lift themselves up out of poverty, educate themselves and improve the world around them independent of government control.

One can almost see the despots of the world throwing up their hands in collective horror. Let the people govern themselves in liberty, peace and happiness? What?! What?! Then who would pay for all the posh private villas, presidential planes and mistresses of the elite?

God forbid that the Power Elite have to actually compete openly and do an honest day's labor instead of preying on the masses! No wonder libertarians and other proponents of small government get lumped in with anarchists and guerrillas.

UNDER NO THUMB

If Americans didn't have to work until August each year just to pay for their government, what could they do with those resources? Fund the end of AIDS? Pay for clean water and literacy in every corner of the world?

Not to sound too idealistic, but if Americans and other global citizens weren't being bled dry by bureaucrats and corporations, imagine what everyone could accomplish free of controlling authorities. All the resources wasted by Big Brother schemes could no doubt end many other social ills.

The morality to let people govern themselves would dramatically reshape the world, and a life lived free of oppression would leave the globe with a very different sort of population indeed. Strong, proud and independent instead of weak, cowed and dependent people would be running the show.

For the moment such a type of free world ethics doesn't exist and is just a pipe dream. And yet, as so many have claimed before . . . if it can be dreamt, it can be done.
