In addition, it would provide evidence of accountability against any representative or activity in the government that can be construed as unconstitutional or treasonous.

Elementary school, middle school, high school and even college level students are all taught that America is a Democracy.

They are used as a tool to fool Americans into believing they have power over the government by having the ability to request any documentation they desire.

This may be true if you are requesting information on the financial spending of an elected official who is having an affair in another country at the taxpayers' expense.

However, when it comes to documentation that is relevant to questionable actions taken by the government, citizens face a wall of rejection ahead of them.

The information will be denied immediately.

If a person seeks a legal answer to their denial they can pursue the information all the way to the Supreme Court only to hind vague exemptions being used to protect the information from citizens.

The Freedom of Information Acts will allow citizens to obtain generic and inconsequential information but when truly important information about government accountability is requested the information is protected by a series of broad exemptions instituted by the government.
