WAR ON CERTAIN DRUGS TO DETRACT US

The War On Certain Drugs Fails to Target Many Dangerous Drugs.

While the federal government has claimed its war on certain drugs is to protect citizens, the snake-in-the-grass drugs are not prohibited.

More people die from alcohol and smoking each year than from illicit drug use, and yet the focus is on marijuana and other drugs that are illegal for some reason or another.

Each year, hundreds of thousands of people die from smoking cigarettes but this is not a major concern of the US government.

Others are exposed to those cigarettes and they can die as well.

In addition, drunken driving accidents are on the rise as are alcohol related deaths but this is not seen as an important issue by the US government.

The war on certain drugs does not take into consideration the fact that death and marijuana are not known to mix and the drug is not known to cause anyone to become violent.

They do not take into account the fact that alcohol and cigarettes are more addictive than cocaine is which is why those two drugs are really a greater problem.

Addiction and danger are not the main objectives, but money is, which is why certain drugs are targeted while others are left alone.

If the war on drugs was really meant to protect citizens, it would not be implemented in the way that it is.

That is not to say the war on drugs should become more inclusive; it actually should become less inclusive.

The government should not keep people from putting things into their bodies if those things do not pose a threat to others in society.

Alcohol is more of a threat to others in society due to drunk driving than marijuana and cocaine will ever be, and yet alcohol will never receive the same attention or money from the government as the illegal drugs do.

SENDING THE WRONG MESSAGE

The war on certain drugs is about control.

It is not about protection, but simply about control and the government's ability to sustain mass management.

That is why the government chooses certain drugs-and if you pay close attention, it's the drugs the economy, the dominant elite, cannot profit from.

They want to take things out of the hands of citizens because it's easier when decisions are left in the hands of the few that align with their own agendas.

CIVIL RIGHTS' ABUSES

It should go without saying, but people have the right to freedom, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

However, the government has chosen to take those rights away with its example of this so-called war on drugs.

Freedom and liberty have been replaced with upper management.
