The year 2009 has seen Florida gun owners scramble for all of the gun permits they can get their hands on.

The state is overloaded with gun permit requests which have increased by 67% since 2008.

The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services was so taken aback by the number of requests that it had to appeal to the Legislature for an additional 61 temporary employees.

Why has there been a surge in Florida’s gun permit applicants?

The only factor that can be attributed to this sharp increase in gun permit requests is the election of Barack Hussein Obama.

Florida residents are just a handful of US citizens who have recognized Obama’s clear anti-gun sentiments and are scrambling to protect their rights.

There are more than 6 million gun owners in Florida, and their commitment to freedom and our country’s Constitution is admirable.

We would do well to take note of their actions, because the Obama administration has already displayed worrying signs of anti-gun sentiment.

Our second amendment right to keep and bear arms is fundamental to our freedom, and it is one of the only obstacles that keeps tyranny and government oppression at bay.

FLORIDA GUN OWNERS WISE UP

Gun owners in Florida are undoubtedly concerned about Obama’s record on guns. After all, Obama did serve on the Joyce Foundation before he became a national political figure. The Joyce Foundation handed out millions of dollars in grants to gun control groups and made legal cases aimed at banning handguns altogether.

During his election and thereafter, Obama has also repeatedly emphasized the need for ‘common sense gun laws.’ His vaguely worded stance on the second amendment has caused Florida residents to take action. We would do well to follow suit.

TROUBLING LEGAL ADVISOR APPOINTMENT

There are more ominous signs of anti-gun sentiment that surround the Obama administration. Professor Koh has recently been confirmed by the senate to be the State Department Legal Advisor. Not surprising is the fact that Koh is a transnationalist who is vehemently opposed to gun ownership. He is set to be the chief advisor to the president on matters of international law.

The most worrying part about Koh is his belief that US courts should cite foreign law when deciding cases. In essence, he believes that the Constitution is secondary to international obligations.

Unfortunately, this new presidential advisor has also openly advocated a global gun-control regime.

FLORIDA GUN OWNERS KNOW THEIR RIGHTS

It is imperative that we keep track of the movements of the Obama administration with regards to gun control legislation. There are sly maneuverings going on behind closed doors in an effort to progress the cause of tyranny.

An elitist cabal has usurped the role of our federal government. These powerful bankers, oil tycoons, multinational corporation owners and royal heirs are orchestrating the demise of liberty and good governance. The rise of fascism and tyranny is taking place around the world in anticipation of a new global order.

Our right to bear arms is one of the only safeguards we have against tyrannical rule. Florida gun owners are some of the few American citizens who fully grasp this principle. They are taking the necessary steps to ensure that they are properly armed before a national gun ban sweeps across America.
