One of the best federal airport security features that airports worldwide began to use is the explosives scanner.

It is used to scan the main luggage and it can't be seen by regular passengers.

This is a very good addition to airport security because it actually does its job perfectly and it protects passengers.

If all additions to the security in airports were so useful, travelers would have nothing to complain about.

Instead, during the mass hysteria after 9/11 authorities decided that it would be a good idea to adopt other security features that are plainly put illogical.

At first people were patted down.

There is no need for incompetent security officers to touch passengers after they have gone through the metal detector.

The removal of pointy objects from airplanes is also a very controversial one.

And as time passes by, the demands of authorities towards airport security become more and more absurd.

The federal airport security now makes people take their shoes off, and as of today, there hasn't been a single case in the history of air travel after 9/11 where a person was caught sneaking explosives in their shoes.

Instead of making a scanner that can scan for everything, without touching or humiliating passengers, government authorities decide that it is better to stress out people and employ thousands of airport workers without properly training them.

One should have a pleasant flight and not feel like on a persecution.

THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG WITH THE WAY AIRPORTS WORK

WHY HAVEN'T AIRPORTS ADOPTED ALREADY EXISTING AND TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCED SCANNERS

There is a reason why different industries would prefer people to get stressed out at airports.

One of these reasons is so that they can keep alive the notion that a real threat exists, and that the only way for people to be protected is for them to give up their civil liberties entirely.

However, these new airport features are completely and entirely useless. This is not a myth, it is a fact.

One of the reasons why they can't work is very simple. If for some reason, all the passengers were secured and none of them could board a plane with tweezers or a bomb, the other security breech cannot be fixed.

FINDING THE MAIN SECURITY BREACH

Implementing new and useless federal airport security features costs the airports a lot since they need to hire hundreds of workers.

This is where security breaks. The newly hired employees are not prepared to do their job properly.

Twenty hours of training is not enough. Since they do not have security clearances they do not know how to work with classified information - this means that they can be very easily corrupted.

Employee corruption is not everything. The background checks of new employees are not very extensive - anyone can get a job at the airport.

Once someone with bad intentions starts working at the airport, they will have access to numerous of information that can help them out in the planning of a bombing or a hijack.

The federal airport security that is widely spread in airports today is nothing but a mask. This mask does not have the intention to protect passengers.

It is used to constantly remind them that they are in danger. As long as people believe this, they can be controlled.
