Organizing dissent requires activists and activists are people that respect their rights and know in order to keep those rights they must use them.

A democracy is not something to sit back and look at, it is organic and the only way to keep it alive is by continually communicating and taking action to keep the balance of power by voicing your opinion when you see it going out of balance.

The way to do that is through dissent and by actively participating in maintaining the integrity of the democracy and maintaining the fairness and the justice of that democracy.

The people are the government and the elected officials are representing the voice of the people.

The system only works when there is a healthy and active voice of the people.

The way to maintain a healthy voice is by using it and the way to use it is by joining and or organizing dissent whenever and wherever the system has gone out of balance and has become corrupt and unjust.

DEMOCRACY IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT

GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATIONS ARE THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE

The stigma of grassroots organizations being out in left field, or being just some radical voice speaking without the majority having the same concerns, is a false concept and a false picture.

That image is what the repressive regime wants you to believe. They want you to see grassroots politics as something other than your politics. They want you to ignore the voice, the message, and especially they want to keep you from attending a meeting or becoming too familiar.

If too many people start listening carefully to the ones that are organizing dissent, or too many people attend a gathering together, then they will send the police in and break it up.

People at key conventions are spied upon, rounded up, and removed from the area and most of them were removed from their private homes before they even got a chance to join with others and in solidarity use their rights in the first amendment to assemble and to voice their dissent. These people organizing dissent are targets of the government and that only shows the corrupt regime we are now under.

The reason is that most people genuinely care for one another.

When you have a group of people with a common goal to express their opinions about the injustice of the system they are under and when one of those people gets treated brutally by a police force then all of the people suffer.

When the entire group is witness to the pain and suffering of a person in their group being zapped by a Tasar and they hear that person’s cries of pain and terror then all of the people are in pain and all have been terrorized.

When this happens in a peaceful demonstration everyone is suppose to be protected by their rights of freedom written in the Constitution, and if they are all there legally and acting within their rights and are still being persecuted then you have a police state and are no longer under a democracy.

These actions are sanctioned by the government and the government has The Patriot Act and Homeland Security and the FBI and the police and the communications industry and the NSA and many more government sanctioned organizations to keep suppressing political dissent and to keep the people in shock as they steal our country and ignore our rights.
